Quilt Shows
The Kankakee Quiltmakers have held quilt shows throughout their history. The show is held every two years in the fall season. Entries from all levels of experience is shown. A raffle quilt is held which the drawing is on the last day of the show. Vendors attend to display the latest items. Members have had silent auctions, a magazine/book sale, a gentle reused sale of sewing items, a boutique with items made by the members and other varieties to help raise money to support the guild and its next quilt show.
